Scariest night of my life: Sourav Ganguly

On Tuesday night’s experience…

GANGULY: Frankly, I’d never felt so scared before… It was the scariest night of my life… The looters, the looting… I’d just about arrived from London (by road) when the looters got into the act… I found it unnerving and asked to be shifted to the same floor as Sunny (Gavaskar)… Being in a room next to a known person was reassuring… Only later did I come to know that Sunny himself had to spend the night elsewhere!

On the third Test getting under way on schedule…

GANGULY: The scenes have been disturbing, but life has to move on… Look at Rahul (Dravid, just after the toss)… He looks comfortable… If the players are okay with the situation, then there can’t be an issue.
