Aamir to play ‘Ke Hobe Banglar Kotipoti’ with DADA

That Sourav Ganguly and Aamir Khan go back a long way is not news anymore. The actor had earlier tried to break into the former India captain’s Behala residence in the guise of a fan during his promotional trip for “3 Idiots”. During his recent visit to attend a wedding ceremony too, Aamir had caught up with good friend Sourav. And now, the actor’s all set to appear on “Ke Hobey Banglar Kotipati” that has Sourav as the show host.

The actor, it’s heard, will be coming down on June 25 to shoot a celebrity special episode of the Bengali version of “Kaun Banega Crorepati”. Confirming the news, said Anilava Chatterjee from the unit, “Yes, Aamir is all set to be part of the show. Sourav had met the actor during his recent visit. They have known each other since Sourav’s Team India days. Aamir is a cricket-buff. They’ve always kept in touch. So, when Sourav invited Aamir to appear on the show, he happily obliged. Even though his dates were a problem, as the actor is busy promoting his forthcoming production, “Delhi Belly”, things have fallen into place. On Sunday night, Aamir’s secretary confirmed that June 25 should be fine with him.” Aamir, modesty personified, had, in fact, messaged Sourav saying that to make his show a hit, the cricketer himself is good enough. But even though he is not needed, he will come down. Sourav too has always been all praise for the star, say sources close to him.This is sure something to look forward to when the Maharaja of Cricket & the true King of Bollywood get together!

It will also be a interesting thing to see if Aamir Khan protomes his new flim ‘Dehli Belly’ on the show ‘Ke Hobe Banglar Kotipoti’!
